Our intention is to provide a broad coverage of topics (see annotation of the course) in order to acquaint students with the basic principles of the subject taught and their practical applications.

Summary

Main hydrogeological and groundwater flow terminology. Fundamentals of geohydrodynamic structures assessment and their importance for rock massif classification. Water-balance equation and its elements. Water budget of drainage area. Physical properties of fluids, hydraulic properties of rock massif and aquifers. Groundwater flow in rock environment, methods of main hydraulic parameters determination. Methods of aquifer hydraulic parameters determination.
