Teaching methods

Summary

Practical drilling by use of hydraulic portable drilling rig MVS in field conditions in area of VŠB-TU Ostrava – soil drilling by use of spiral rods (angers) according to set definite assignment. Well sampling of soils from particular depth intervals, keeping of geological profile, petrographic and lithological description of the soil samples. Data compilation in report form. Geologic sketching of drilled cores in laboratory conditions – footage, core recovery characteristics, keeping of geological profile ground water level determination, points of specific sample coring, workability and classification according to valid standards (ČSN), characteristics according to valid standards.

Subject syllabus:

1. Bezpečnostní zaškolení pro práci na vrtné soupravě MVS. 2. Vrtání na vybrané lokalitě v areálu VŠB-TU Ostrava. 3. Zaměření sítě vrtů, zpracování situace. 4. Odběr vzorků, vyhodnocení, sestavení geologického profilu. 5. Vypracování závěrečné zprávy. 6. Dokumentace vrtných jader v laboratorních podmínkách metráž, charakteristiky výnosu jádra – RQD, kusy < 10 cm, drť, celkový výnos jádra, vykreslení geologického profilu,hladiny podzemní vody, místa odběru zvláštních vzorků, těžitelnost podle ČSN 73 33050, třída podle ČSN 73 1001, pojmenování a popis hornin podle ČSN 72 1001.
