Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Some significant technical monuments, especial the miner monuments in Ostrava city, are presented within the frame of the excursion. The students must be able, to define the importance of these monuments for region where they are situated after the graduation of this excursion. They have to be able to name and outline these objects which are most important and to differentiate these of small account. With utilization of the chosen miner monuments they have to illustrate their importance for region. They could be able to evaluate knowledge obtained during the excursion and apply them in their next study, especially in the subjects with similar thematical contens and step by step to develop their knowledge. Students should gain, among other thinks, the ability to organise excursion of similar character and to practice gained knowledge in their next professional activity.

Summary
The localities, representing meaningful objects of technical character connected with various spheres of the human activity are frequented step by step within the frame of the excursion. The extra attention is paid to the technical objects and museums documenting miner and metallurgical tradition or objects publicated as the national cultural monuments. The significant point of interest represent also natural and geological attractions, which are the regular part of the excursional plan. The students are obligated to work out a day excursional book, which serves as a study aid and represents one of the most important premises for the award of inclusion.

Znalosti v průběhu semestru jsou kontrolovány pomocí semestrálním projektem a prezentacemi v MS Power Point.

Students, after the excursion, submit elaborated field diary in which they will have a survey of all the visited sites (facts, knowledge, their own view of individual locations!)

Subject syllabus:
Students have to participate on technical monuments excursions primarily in mining. After excursions students must define relevancy of monuments for region. Pieces of knowledge from excursions students will use for next studies in similar special subjects. In addition they get a competence of organize excursions along technical monuments and monuments generally.
