The aim of the subject is to inform students with the knowledge measurements in engineering geology and geotechnics which to enable them to understand the substantive content of the subject to be able to apply it in practical field activities.

Summary

The measurements in particular tasks of engineering geology and geotechnics. The definition of monitoring, its functions and targets. The function difference between monitoring and repeated measurements. The methods of measurements, the choice of particular measurement processes for the given purposes of monitoring. The evaluation of monitoring measurements, the adjustments of monitoring system. The functions of warning conditions and their determinations.
