Summary

The subject is focused to different measurements in particular tasks of engineering geology and geotechnics. During the study of this course, students will get acquainted with definition of monitoring, its functions and targets It will focus on the difference of tasks in repeated measurements and monitoring. They will get acquainted with the individual methods of measurements, the choice of particular measurement processes for the given purposes of monitoring, the evaluation of monitoring measurements, the adjustments of monitoring system and last but not least the group with the tasks of warning conditions and their determinations.
