Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Goal of the subject is to provide knowledge to the university student, so he/she will be able to understand given points at issue good enough to analyse its content, to realise synthesis of the acquired information and its evaluation. This sciential base allow student to compare results of the synthesis, propose modifications and solve the problems of the Economic Evaluation of Mineral Raw Material Deposits.

Summary

Raw materials as a part of the economic potential of the country. Resources, reserves, mineable reserves and economic mineable reserves. Principles of the classification of the reserves and resources. Problems of the cutoff grade of the mineral deposits. Price raw material in concentrate. Methods of the analysis relations costs, revenues and profits in mining industry. Cash flows in the raw materiala complex. Sensitivity analysis. Methods of the estimation of the recoverable reserves and their assessment. Assessment of the mineral deposits. Prefeasibility study and feasibility study. Risk analysis in the assessment of the mineral deposits .
