Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this subject is acquisition of knowledge about BAT technologies in the area of waste management – landfills. Operation systems of landfills – monitoring (on-line systems). Technology for waste minimization, methods for monitoring of environmental loads (underground water, gasses, noice), technology for soil decontamination. Utilization of biogass and relationship to the biologically degradable wastes.

Summary

Předmět navazuje na základní informace získané během studia. Je zaměřen na problematiku výběru lokality, designu skládek, nakládání s odpady při skládkování a technologií uzavírání skládek s následnou rekultivací. Legislativa pro skládkování. Technologie pro minimalizaci environmentálních rizik ze skládkování. On- line metody monitorování vlivu skládky na okolí (emise, imise – kontaminace podzemních vod, analýza rizik). Charakteristika hlavních znečišťujících látek (POPs, VOC) – migrace rizikových prvků a majoritních aniontů. Optimalizace nakládání s odpady v rámci skládkového hospodářství – energetické využití bioplynu, optimalizace procesu nakládání s BRO a BRKO. BAT technologie. Geochemické vlastnosti materiálů používané pro rekultivaci skládek. Technologie dekontaminace zemin a odpadů – termické metody, fyzikálně-chemické metody, technologie biodegradace, elektrochemické metody. Metody posuzování produkce AMD a technologické možnosti jejich minimalizace.
