Summary

The definition of the term “nonmetalliferous deposits”. The genetic classification of nonmetalliferous deposits. The chemical-technological classification of nonmetalliferous deposits utilised for the foodstuffs sector, agriculture and the production of abrasives, insulating materials and ceramic materials. Glass, refractory and acid-resistant raw materials. Raw materials used in inorganic chemical industry, foundry and for the production of bleaching and filtering materials. Filling agents for plastics, natural dyes and ochers. Raw materials suitable for utilising in optical industry and as semiprecious stones and gem stones.
