Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim is to get to know and be able to use in the practice of modern geophysical mapping technology using underground, aerial and satellite geophysical methods. PhD student learn basic procedures for processing measured geophysical data and their interpretation. Familiar with and be able to work with the outputs and outcomes of various geophysical methods. The condition is mastering of modern software used for quantitative interpretation. The aim is also to be able to use knowledge of modern geophysical technologies in practical applications in addressing the deep structures prospect for hydrocarbons, the study seismotektonických structures and solving problems of remote sensing.

Teaching methods

Individual consultations

According aim to of student and his theses the content of this topic will be problematics of utilization of the geophysical technologies and methods for the solution of complex problems of each type of surveys , including of specific method of measurements, data processing and complex geological-geophysical, geotechnical-geophysical or other type of geophysical data interpretation.
