Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim is to get to know and be able to use in the practice of modern geophysical mapping technology using underground, aerial and satellite geophysical methods. PhD student learn basic procedures for processing measured geophysical data and their interpretation. Familiar with and be able to work with the outputs and outcomes of various geophysical methods. The condition is mastering of modern software used for quantitative interpretation. The aim is also to be able to use knowledge of modern geophysical technologies in practical applications in addressing the deep structures prospect for hydrocarbons, the study seismotektonických structures and solving problems of remote sensing.
