Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The object is to gain knowledge in phase mineralogical analysis of inorganic materials. The main focus is on powder RTG-diffraction, infrared absorption spectrophotometry and thermal methods - differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetry. These methods are complemented by optical microscopy and electron microscopy. The knowledge gained makes it possible to use the results of mineralogical phase analysis in the fields of conditioning, energy and environment.
