Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the subject is to inform students with the knowledge of methods and methodics of engineering geological survey which to enable them to understand the substantive content of the subject to be able to apply it in practical activities of study discipline.

Summary

Principles of laboratory methods, instrumentations, demands on sample taking and treatment. Principles of in-situ tests, instrumentation, localization in massif. Interpretation of test data. Transformation relations between results of single methods. Interpretation and presentation of results of exploration methods. Project of exploratory works and methodical progress built-up on principles of teleological effectiveness, complexity and optimisation.

Principles of laboratory methods, instrumentation requirements for the collection and processing of samples. Principles of field tests, instrumentation, localization in rock mass. Interpretation of test results. The transformation relations between the results of each method. Interpretation and presentation of the results of exploration methods. Project exploration work and methodologies established on the principle special purpose of efficiency, complexity and optimization.
