Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The objective is comprehension of minerals and rocks characteristics, clasification systems, genesis and its research methods. Students should learn: Collect basic principles of minerals and rocks characteristics and classifications. Describe, clarify and interpret natural processes of rocks and minerals cycle. Theoretically know basic analytical methods for minerals and rocks research. Ilustrate knowledge in examples of describing and utilization of minerals and rocks.
