Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this subject is to learn with basic parts of drilling rigs and with the basement of drilling proces. The graduate will have a basic overview of the technology and technology of drilling and mining work and will be able to classify drilling rigs as well as be able to recognize the way of hydrocarbon deposits.

Summary

Předmět poskytuje základní informace o konstrukci jednotlivých částí vrtných souprav (lehké, středně těžké a těžké vrtné soupravy). Jde zejména o vrtnou věž a vrtný poval, výplachové hospodářství, velín a další. Pozornost bude věnována i tzv. Top Drive.

Mandatory attendence participation: Regular participation in exercises. Part of the exercise is ongoing work on the assigned project, final presentation and submission of the final report. One written test is part of the exercise evaluation. The exam consists of a written, preparatory part and a subsequent discussion on the given topics. Knowledge is tested in the scope of lectures and exercises and the mentioned professional literature.

Processing of the project according to the teacher's instructions and presenting it on the agreed date. One written test is part of the exercise evaluation.
