Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will learn about the various groups of microfossils, morphology and use. They are able to analyze the suitability of the methods used for a particular material and purpose.

Summary

The aim is to acquire knowledge about groups of microfossils used in the oil industry, possibilities of their use in stratigraphy, evaluation of hydrocarbon potential and in palaeoecological analyzes.
