Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Absolvent will know the main aspects of fluid mechanics in petroleum engineering. Absolvent will be able to analyse real problems and apply engineering aproaches to their understanding and solving.

Teaching methods

Subject will introduce various fluids encountered in petroleum engineering. Intrinsic parts of the subject are formation fluids, drilling fluids, cements, completion fluids and production fluids.
