Summary

Předmět si klade za cíl studenty přehledně seznámit s širokou škálou kontaminantů v podzemních vodách a půdách – organické, anorganické kontaminanty, bakteriologická kontaminace atd. Věnuje se rovněž transportu kontaminantů v saturované zóně v podzemních vodách i v nesaturované zóně – transportní procesy: advekce, hydrodynamická disperze, sorpce, degradace. Součástí předmětu je i část věnovaná procesům přirozené atenuace, resp. metodice hodnocení přirozené atenuace na kontaminovaných lokalitách. Zabývá se rovněž metodami průzkumu (saturovaná, nesaturovaná zóna, monitorovací systémy) a obecné ochraně vod (ochrana tvorby podzemních vod, ochrana vod před nadměrným využíváním, ochranná pásma pitných vod, ochrana minerálních vod, chráněné oblasti přirozené akumulace vod atd.). V závěru se předmět věnuje základním sanačním metodám podzemních vod (např. aktivní a pasivní metody, sanace saturované, nesaturované zóny), charakterizuje analýzu rizik kontaminovaného území a metodika pro její realizaci. S tím souvisí i seznámení s legislativou v ochraně podzemních a povrchových vod.
