Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject introduces students to the implementation of blasting in opencast mining of crucial issues, including safety when performing them according to current regulations in this area. Characterizes the distribution of blasting agents and blasting techniques work safety and hygiene with explosives. It is governed by current trends in the art, great emphasis is placed on the use of modern means of blasting techniques. In the course they are also discussed legislative provisions dealing with blasting and work safety during blasting.

Summary

Předmět seznamuje posluchače s prováděním trhacích prací při povrchovém dobývání ložisek včetně zásadních otázek bezpečnosti práce při jejich vykonávání dle platných předpisů pro tuto oblast. Charakterizuje rozdělení trhacích prací, prostředky trhací techniky a bezpečnost a hygienu práce s výbušninami. Řídí se aktuálními trendy v dané problematice, velký důraz je kladen na používání moderních prostředků trhací techniky. V rámci předmětu jsou také probírány legislativní předpisy zabývající se problematikou trhacích prací a bezpečností práce při trhacích prací.

1) Basic legal standards for explosives - test. 2) Calculation of the electric wiring. 3) Basic rules for handling with explosives. 4) Technological process of small scale blasting - semester project. 5) Technical project of blast - semester project.

Subject syllabus:

1) Act n. 61/1988 Coll. the mining activities, explosives and state mining administration, as amended. 2) Ordinance n. 72/1988 Coll. the use of explosives. 3) Basic concepts of blasting, the distribution and characteristics of the TP, the storage of explosives. 4) Blasting technology, their properties, and handling. 5) Blasting technology, construction and distribution charges. 6) Types of initiation - electric, non-electric, electronics and others. 7) Modern means of blasting technique. 8) Occupational Health and Safety with explosives. 9) Principles of geology, surveying, drilling work. 10) Determination of the basic parameters of the bench, line and combined blasting. 11) Projecting large-scale blasting. 12) Secondary blasting. 13) Harmful effects of explosion (air pressure, wave flight of material, toxicity fumes, seismic effects). 14) Act n. 500/2004 Coll. administrative Code, as amended. 15) Brief types of blasting.
