Summary

The goal of the subject is to make students acquainted with the philosophy of formation of engineering monuments mainly in the mountain fields. The subject gives information about bases of mining activities in point of view of its history, gives information about actual monuments which are touristed in the Czech Republic and partly in the World.

Subject syllabus:

Osnova přednášek: 1. Hornická činnost v historii v souvislostech s vytvořením národního bohatství ve smyslu technických památek. 2. Rudné hornictví – nejdůležitější oblasti v rámci českých zemí, základy technologií, návaznost na vznik technických památek. 3. Uhelné hornictví – industriální kontext vzniku hornických oblastí, vliv na hornictví i jeho tradice, nový vznik památek. 4. Charakter technických památek z hlediska hornické činnosti – důlní díla, technologie, pomocné provozy. 5. Likvidace dolů a lomů v rámci rudného a nerudného průmyslu, důvody, budoucnost. 6. Likvidace uhelných dolů, důvod, nesmyslnost některých kroků v historickém kontextu, důsledky. 7. Konzervace dolů a lomů – metodika, možnosti. 8. Zahlazování hornické činnosti, rekultivace, metodika. 9. Hlavní problémy při likvidaci konzervaci a rekultivaci dolů a lomů. 10. Seznámení s konkrétními montánními památkami a jejich historií v rudném, nerudném i uhelném hornictví.
