Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Mining of Deposits of Mineral Raw Materials and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them. Subsequently, the students will learn how to analyse information, connect pieces of information, order information according to importance and use it in experiments and synthesis with a view to definite recommendations.

Summary

The students will gain the knowledge of the means of opening, preparation and excavation of raw materials deposits, either in deep or in open cast mines. The basic processes of mining, transport and stocking and dumping of materials, including packing of mined spaces, are discussed, as well as the means of mechanization a technological complexes. Other focal points are mine ventilation and reclamation of land and waters.

Subject syllabus:

1. Osnova předmětu: 2. Problematika hlubinného a lomového dobývání uhelných, stavebních, silikátových aj. ložisek. 3. Základní pojmy lomového a hlubinného dobývání ložisek. 4. Systémy lomového dobývání a rozdělení výrobního procesu na odklizu. 5. Cyklicky pracující rýpadla a zařízení na lomech. 6. Kontinuální technologie na lomových provozech. 7. Dobývání soudržných a nesoudržných nerostných surovin pro stavební výrobu. 8. Mechanizace zakládacích prací na výsypkách a odvalech. 9. Otvírka ložiska z povrchu a na patře. 10. Způsoby přípravy ložiska pro hlubinné dobývání. 11. Členění dobývacích metod uhelných dolů. 12. Technologická zařízení v porubech. 13. Charakteristika dobývání rudných a nerudných ložisek. 14. Větrání v hlubinných dolech. 15. Zahlazení hornické činnosti při hlubinném a lomovém dobývání ložisek a rekultivace.
