Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject introduces students to the legislation for the implementation of blasting mining of deposits and other blasting including fundamental questions of occupational safety when performing them according to current regulations in this area. Characterized characteristics of blasting agents and blasting techniques work safety and hygiene with explosives. Follows the recent legislative trends in the art. In this course are discussed current legislative regulations dealing with blasting and work safety during blasting operations.

1. Explosives, basic concepts, handling of explosives, production of explosives and aids 2. Putting explosives and aids on the market, acquisition and transfer of explosives, import and export of explosives, transit of explosives 3. Organization's responsibilities for dealing with explosives 4. Performing work on the use of explosives 5. Storage and recording of explosives, explosives to explosion 6. Extent and documentation of blasting work 7. Safety and health at work with explosives and blasting operations 8. Shotgun, Technical Blast Head, Head Blasting, Fireworks Launcher 9. Performing blasting work 10. Spikes and types of charges 11. Blasting work of small and large scale 12. Blasting work in coal mines 13. Blasting works for surface mining 14. Technological procedure of blasting works and technical design of blasting, fireworks
