The goal of the subject is learn students solve concrete example from practice at broken mining deposit.

Summary

The subject will analyses operational situations concern surface mining, transport, overburden removing, surface mining of raw materials in special processes focused to alternative solutions under safety requirements, occupational safety and restricting of labour risks. The subject deals with accompanying processes as removing the impacts of surface mining upon the landscape environment.

Subject syllabus:

Syllabus seminar exercises including: 1st Mining, transport and the establishment of the difficult conditions of quarry operations. 2nd The issue of anomalous situations, accidents and hazardous events in the quarries. 3rd Security aspects of situations. 4th Entering and alternative solutions to specific situations of maps and graphics documentation and evaluation.
