Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal of the subject is preparation students for mastered methods broken mining coaly deposit, inclusive transport materials plus their saving on dump.

Summary

The students will gain the knowledge of opening of coal quarries; of the processes of loosening, hauling, transport and dumping of overburden and/or coal; of the assembly of equipment complexes; and of the specifics of coal deposits mining compared to those of building raw materials mining.

Subject syllabus:

Course Syllabus: 1st The issue of mining coal deposits in the CR and the world. 2nd Basic concepts quarry mining of coal deposits. 3rd Systemic distribution of quarry mining of coal deposits. 4th Cyclic system of work and shovel excavator and dregline. 5th Technology mining wheel excavators in the cut. 6th Technology mining wheel excavators in the block. 7th Technology bucked mining excavators. 8th Transverse movement overburden mass. 9th Longitudinal movement overburden mass. 10th Transportation quarries, coal as part of technological units. 11th Dump system, Excavator dump. 12th Technology filling and flight belt. 13th Auxiliary machinery and associated processes coal mines. 14th Smoothing effects of coal mining in the mining sites.
