Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course is focused on the problems of designing rock disintegration and explosion safety regulations related thereto (Act no. 61/1988 Coll., On mining, explosives and the State Mining Administration, as amended, and the Ordinance no. 72/1988 Coll. the use of explosives, as amended). Students will learn basic principles of designing blasting and acquire related beyond safety regulations and technical standards governing safety and hygiene at work. Instruction is focused on designing activities and procedures related to the processing processes and technical projects blasting blasting to digging workings, and in mining, quarrying of industrial minerals. Attention is also paid to the basics of designing blasting for destruction and construction works and designing special blasting. Special attention is given blasting project area in terms of gassy mines with potentially explosive coal dust.
