Summary
Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject acquaints students with the use of existing types of initiators in the execution of small and large blasting works, including fundamental issues of efficiency and safety of work, when choosing the kind of ignition. It characterizes the correct choice of blasting explosives to prevent material damage and health hazards in the event of neglecting the basic principles of blasting techniques. Within the subject are discussed the current principles of calculation of individual types of ignition including determination of ignition security.
