Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Securing and Closing of Mines and Quarries and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them.

Summary
The students in the requirements imposed on preservation and disposal of mines and quarries in terms of legislation and technical implementation. Attention will be paid to how the ore deposit, coal, and uranium. The studies are an integral part of the managed quarries.

2. Legislation on the issue of liquidation of mine shafts, which open to the surface.
3. Conservation of mines - possibilities and methods of implementation.
4. Possibilities of a technical disposal solution in the conditions of ore and uranium mines.
5. Possibilities of a technical disposal solution in the conditions of ore and uranium mines.
6. Methods of remediation and recultivation of the area at the decommissioned mine.
7. Inspections of the condition of abandoned objects.
8. Possibilities of subsequent use of surface objects of a liquidated mine.
9. Sample outline of the mine disposal technical project.
10. Social program in connection with the liquidation of mines.
11. Restructuring of mining enterprises in connection with the decline in mining.
12. Analysis of the issue using practical examples
