Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal of this subject is inform students about questions of systems opencast mining of coal, ore and another deposit.

Summary

The student will amplify her/his knowledge from previous subjects, concentrating on the opencast mining of coal and non-metalliferous deposits, largely for constructional building industry, including the specificities of effacement broken activities landscape revitalization after opencast mining.

Course Syllabus: 1st Problems fracture of coal mining, building materials and silicates in CR and the world 2nd Selected terminology quarry mining. 3rd Natural conditions affecting the choice of mining methods. 4th Legislation binding to quarry mining deposits. 5th Mining methods. 6th Cyclical mining technology. 7th Continuous mining technology. 8th Systems of nontransport quarry mining. 9th Transport systems quarry mining. 10th Dump and pipe economy in quarries, quarry dewatering. 11th Mechanization on the spoil banks and tips. 12th Mining coherent rocks. 13th Mining loose and powdery rocks. 14th Remediation and Reclamation terrains after exploitation.
