Teaching methods

Summary

The aim of the subject is to provide the students with the knowledge of physical and mechanical properties of soils, knowledge of the stress and deformable alternations of the rock body due to outer load and stress, as well as solving of basic stability problems.

Osnova přednášek: 1. Geneze zemin a jejich mineralogické složení 2. Zemina jako dispersní systém 3. Voda v zeminách 4. Fyzikálně-mechanické vlastnosti zemin, jejich specifika a metody určování 5. Konsolidace zemin 6. Napětí v zemním tělese od vnějšího namáhání 7. Stav mezní rovnováhy a porušení zemin 8. Únosnost podzákladí 9. Stabilita svahů a metody řešení úloh 10. Stabilita těles zemních hrází 11. Sanace sesuvů 12. Tlak zemin na opěrné konstrukce 13. Ovlivňování vlastností zemin 14. Geomechanický monitoring a zvláštní úlohy mechaniky zemin
