Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal of the subject is education in the area projection at mining activities plus activities conducted by mining in a way. Result is ability practice for the post of designer in these area.

Summary

One of the final subjects of Mining Engineering. The studentss will gain the knowledge of regulations connected with the planning, design and/or closing of opencast mines, with the assessing of geological conditions of deposits as a basis for decision-making process for opening, preparation and mining of mineral and raw material deposits. All the necessary documentation needed for opencast mine planning and projecting is described in detail.

Subject syllabus:

Syllabus of lectures: 1st Legislation related to the projections for mining activities. 2nd Legislation related to the projection in the activities carried out by mining method. 3rd Evaluation of natural conditions in the proposed mining areas. 4th Cartridge pre-production on the quarry operations. 5th Stocks on the deposit, the conditions on the recoverability of the deposit. 6th Sizing quarry. 7th The choice of mining, transport and incorporation of technology. 8th Determination of the performance of individual technologies to ensure production. 9th Assessment workability rocks and soils in relation to the disconnection of utility. and the establishment of mineral materials. 10th Security foreground quarry dewatering system, our own quarry and waste heaps. 11th Solutions výsypkového and odvalového economy. 12th Open plans, preparation and extraction, plans the use of bearings. 13th Technical procedures and processes. 14th Model and computer processing of graphic documentation.
