Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Underground Mining of Deposits and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them.
Subsequently, the students will learn how to analyse information, connect pieces of information, order information according to importance and use it in experiments and synthesis with a view to definite recommendations.
Teaching methods
Summary
The goal of the subject is to extent knowledge of students in the problems of
underground mining of minerals deposits under different of geological and
operational conditions. The attention is focused to the methods of development
and exploitation of coal and ore deposits, machinery and technologies used in
the processes of mining, transport, mine ventilation, methane drainage,
dewatering and dust control. The problems of mining under difficult conditions
are described include removing the impacts of deep mining upon the landscape
environment.

Osnova přednášek:
1. Vedení důlních děl ve vztahu k dobývací metodě.
2. Dobývání pilířováním, zátinkováním a komorováním.
3. Stěnování v podmínkách uhelných i rudných dolů vč. likvidace vyrubaného
prostoru.
4. Metoda komora-pilíř ve světovém i českém hornictví.
5. Nadpatrové a podpatrové dobývání.
6. Způsoby dobývání mocných uhelných slojí v lávkách.
7. Rozbor možností dobývání strmě uložených uhelných slojí.
8. Moderní vybavení stěnových porubů.
9. Prostá a zpevněná základka jako faktor, omezující poklesy povrchu.
10. Dobývání uhelných ložisek v obtížných báňsko-geologických podmínkách.
11. Způsoby dobývání ložisek rudných, nerudných a uranových.
12. Technologické procesy při hlubinném dobývání rud a uranu.
13. Netradiční způsoby hlubinného dobývání ložisek.
14. Vybrané geotechnologické metody.
