Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Analyses of Operational Situations in Mines and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them.
Subsequently, the students will learn how to analyse information, connect pieces of information, order information according to importance and use it in experiments and synthesis with a view to definite recommendations.

Summary
The subject analyses operational situations which often appear with opening,
preparation and exploitation of minerals deposits. The analysing of this
problems is focused to the special processes of alternative solutions under
safety requirements, occupational safety and restricting of labour risks.
Reached results are used for economic optimization of mining technology, mining
equipment and accompanying processes as removing the impacts of environmental
risks.
