Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the subject is basic knowledge of problematic of mining. This knowledge is important not only for mining engineers, but also for businessmen deal with mineral resources.

Summary

The subject is the one of the three volumes of the “Mining I. – III.” The mining subjects deals with a global summary of problems in the surface and deep mining. The volume I. contents base information about mineral resources, rock mass properties, changes in a rock mass related to a mining activities, the methods of the development and exploitation of coal and ore deposits, deposits of construction raw materials, machinery and technologies used in the processes of mining.

Subject syllabus:

Osnova přednášek: 1. Fyzikální vlastnosti hornin. 2. Voda v horninách, vliv vody na charakteristiku hornin, fyzikálně chemické vlastnosti hornin, konzistenční stavy zemin. 3. Mechanické vlastnosti hornin, činitelé ovlivňující naměřené hodnoty mechanických vlastností hornin. 4. Reologické vlastnosti hornin, reologické modelování. 5. Mezní stavy hornin. 6. Technologické vlastnosti hornin, vlastnosti hornin pro hodnocení kvality přírodního kamene a kameniva. 7. Napěťopřetvárná charakteristika horského masivu a jeho změny vlivem hornické činnosti. 8. Změny v horském masivu v okolí dlouhých důlních děl. 9. Změny v horském masivu v porubech a jejich okolí. 10. Vymezení dobývacího prostoru, způsoby otvírky hlubinných dolů z povrchu a základní ovlivňující činitele. 11. Trhací práce při ražení a hloubení. 12. Systematika a způsoby ražení horizontálních dlouhých důlních děl. 13. Způsoby hloubení jam. 14. Ražení velkoprostorových důlních děl, charakteristika, technologie.
