The goal of the subject is learn listener systems mining cohesionless raw material dry on the way and from waters.

The students will gain the knowledge of exploitation of non-coherent mineral utility raw materials in non-metalliferous areas, using open cast mining in quarries, and sand- and gravel-pits, concentrating on loosening, hauling and transport, dumping of overburden, and selecting the method of mining, namely dry and/or wet mining method in shelf and pit quarries.

Subject syllabus:

Syllabus of lectures: 1st Occurrence, localization and characteristics of loose and raw materials. 2nd Conditions and specificities involved in the extraction, stability of cuts and mine lines. 3rd Basic technical parameters of mining-wall and hole pits and sand. 4th Strip and ground work on the deposit. 5th Systems mining, transport, filling and supporting the work wall and pit locations. 6th Characteristics of mining sites, according to the location of deposits and groundwater levels water. 7th Technology of sand and gravel extraction on the wall and the pit quarries lower levels of surface water - mining dry way. 8th Technology loose materials in mining quarries pit of water extraction machine from the shore. 9th Technology loose materials in mining quarries pit on water surfaces floating excavators. 10th Technology dry material extracted transport route. 11th Technological transport materials extracted from the water. 12th Elevation, landing transported materials. Facilities and features port. 13th Supporting and auxiliary work, depending on other technological processes. 14th Water, sludge and odvalové economy. Smoothing operations and fracture rehabilitation.
