Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal of the subject is familiarization listeners with problems JKS and technology mining at occurrence off-normal condition.

Summary
The subject is the one of the three volumes of the “Mining I. – III.” The
mining subjects deals with a global summary of problems in the surface and deep
mining. The volume II contents
the mineral policies of the Czech Republic and basically in the World.
Attention is focused to the machinery and technologies used in the processes of
mining, transport and backfilling, underwater mining, block mining of raw
materials, surface mine drainage, accompanying processes, and last but not
least, to removing the impacts of surface mining upon the landscape environment.

Syllabus of lectures:
1st The issue of underground and quarry mining production of raw materials in the CR and world.
2nd Quarry extraction systems and its basic concepts.
3rd Mining using cyclically operating excavators and equipment.
4th Continuous system of conquest, technological units.
5th Transportation to the quarries, shipping.
6th Conquering the quarries, block extraction, extraction of water.
7th Dump and pile systems, quarry dewatering.
8th Set of activities related to underground extraction bearings.
9th Possible ways open deposits from the surface, bunk open.
10th Preparatory work in underground mining, coal and ore.
11th Mining methods for coal seams and technological processes in faces.
12th Mining methods for ore deposits and specialty technological processes and faces.
13th Possible ways of reducing the effects of underground mining deposits on the surface.
14th Smoothing effects of mining activities, remediation and reclamation of terrain.
