Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal of the subject is to create the ability of students to understand and interpret learned information in the field of mining law and safety regulations.

Summary
Students are introducing with the obligatory regulations in the field of
mining. The purpose of the subject is to outline to students the legal
principles of mining low - whether they will be mining engineers, geologists,
minerals surveyors or other specialists in general practice. It is based on
the three actual low in the Czech mining industry - Mining Act nr. 44/88,
Exploitation and Mining Act nr. 61/88, Geological Act nr. 62/88. Besides of it
the subject contents the summary of other mining legislation and its
application.

Subject syllabus:
·Horní zákon, jeho historické kořeny, princip evropského horního práva
·Ochrana nerostných zdrojů a bezpečnosti práce v právních normách
nejvyšší právní síly
·Předpisy v oblasti horního práva, hlavní okruhy.
·Hornická činnost a činnost prováděná hornickým způsobem
·Horní zákon, hlavní okruhy, dodatky
·Horní zákon - nerostné bohatství, nerosty, ložiska, povinnosti
organizace při využívání výhradního ložiska, oznamovací povinnost
·Hospodárné využívání výhradních ložisek, povolování a ohlašování
hornické činnosti
·Plán otvírky a přípravy dobývání
·Úhrady a finanční rezervy související s hornickou činnosti a využití
těchto prostředků.
·Odborná způsobilost v oblasti hornictví, udělování osvědčení o odborné
způsobilosti, oprávnění a povolení v oblasti hornictví
·Legislativní postup při schvalování činnosti v oblasti hornictví
·Přehled bezpečnostních předpisů v hornictví
·Příslušný bezpečnostní předpis podle zaměření studijního oboru
·Příklady legislativních požadavků v oblasti hornictví v EU, USA
