The goal of the subject is to create the ability of students to understand and interpret learned information in the fields of mining risks and mines rescue.

Summary

The subject contents the summary of risks in mining - explosion of flammable gases and coal dust, underground fires, spontaneous combustion, rock and gas outburts, etc. and the principles of the safety engineering in mining as labour safety, environmental science - mine gases, heat in mines, mine dust and health hazard, explosion protection, ignition protection etc. The part of mines rescue service contents their organization, equipment, training, legislation and activities as firefighting technologies in CZ and abroad.
