The aim of this subject is understanding of the basic risk management principles, their association with the present ČR legislation.

Summary
This course acquaints students with the basic requirements of European Union directives and their implementing regulations in the Czech Republic, especially following the requirement of Act No. 309/2006 Coll., where the employer is obliged to provide and perform tasks in the evaluation and prevention of risks to life or health.
Risk management involves identifying and evaluating risks and classification them. The next step in risk management is to eliminate them through technical and organizational requirements for the work environment, work organization and workflows.
Preventing these risks also includes addressing occupational accidents, workplace hazards, personal protective equipment, safety signals and signs.

1. Legal and other regulations required by the EU.
2. Methods of risk identification.
3. Methods of analysis of sources of danger and risks.
4. Labor inspection bodies.
5. Risk elimination methods; preventive measures and their effectiveness
6. Implementation of EU requirements into Czech regulations.
7. Quantification of the degree of risk.
8. Risky workplaces.
9. Factors and procedure for announcing hazardous work and controlled areas.
10. Principles for determining the protection of employees against risk factors.
11. Categorization of work and classification into categories.
12. Tasks in risk prevention, as performed by the employer, professional competence.
13. VTZ - pressure, electric, lifting, gas.
14. Compensation for damages and non-pecuniary damage, release from the obligation to compensate damages and non-pecuniary damage
