Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal is the achievement of general knowledge relating to risk management - identification, quantification and evaluation including reduction of losses. There is also summarized occupational health and safety legislation in the EU and CR.

Summary

Definition of basic terms – hazard and risk. European directives and regulations in health and safety. Risk management in health and safety – managerial strategies, systems of communication. Risk assessment and elimination. Methods of risk analysis. Quantitative risk analysis, risk models. Health and safety monitoring. Accidents, injuries, and fatal disaster prevention. Human factors in health and safety. Loss reduction management. The economy of health and safety protection.

Loss reduction management. 11. Economy of health and safety protection.
