Summary
The students will gain the knowledge of the relations of natural and forced air
flow during ventilation and of their application on concrete cases in
ventilation of a wide range of various types of public and industrial
buildings. The problems of ventilation connected with fire fighting and health
and safety protection are discussed in deep. Modern methods of mathematical
modelling of turbulent transfer of mass, energy, momentum, and admixtures by
means of Fluent and Airpak software packages is an integral part of the course.
