Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Aim subject is education and adoption primary objective reservation opencast mine at temporary break - in mining and primary objective at liquidation opencast mine.

Teaching methods


The students will gain the knowledge of basic requirements during closing and securing the opencast mines, that are demanded by regulations. All the accompanying problems are discussed, including preparation of relevant documentation (graphs, maps, layouts etc.)

Compulsory literature:

Subject syllabus:

Course Syllabus: 1st The basic objectives and content of the project plan of conservation and liquidation of open pit. 2nd The basic legislation is binding to the closure of quarries. 3rd Basic inform. data - geological, storage, quantitative, etc. 4th Safety, technical, technological, construction, environmental, etc. data. 5th Remediation work associated with the disposal quarries inc. graphic documentation. 6th Disposal of residual pits and mining-technical phase of reclamation.
