Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Securing and Closing of Mines and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them.
Subsequently, the students will learn how to analyse information, connect pieces of information, order information according to importance and use it in experiments and synthesis with a view to definite recommendations.

Summary
The students will gain the knowledge of all the requirements during closing and
securing the deep mines, that are demanded by regulations. The problems of
technical solutions and further utilization of underground spaces are discussed.

1st Legislation on the issue of preservation and destruction of mines.
2nd Legislation on the issue of liquidation of mines that would result to the surface.
3rd Preservation Down - ways and means of implementation.
4th Possible technical solution for the conditions in the ore and uranium mines.
5th Possible technical solution for the conditions in the ore and uranium mines.
6th The methods remediation and reclamation of the mine destroyed.
7th Checks the status of abandoned buildings.
8th The possibility of subsequent use of liquidated mine surface buildings.
9th Sample outline of a technical project winding down.
10th Social program in connection with the winding down.
11th Restructuring of the mining companies in connection with mining downturn.
