Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The rudiment of subjekt is understanding balance method in mineral processing. In the topic they are lit groundwork fluxion liquid, utilize theory similarity relation, image continuum, patterns division liquid and tough phase filtration. In object they are valuation patterns sedimentation stiff element in liquid environment and their practical application, fundamentals suit fluidace and mixture liquid.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: I. Introduction, definition of subject content II. Fluid of liquids 1. Basic concepts, mass balance, balance of momentum flowing fluid. 2. Flow of ideal liquids. 3. Flow of incompressible fluid pipe, pipe flow calculation. 4. Transport of fluid by means of pumps, piping systems calculate the pump. III. Filtration 1. Fluid flow granular layer of inert material. 2. Description filtration. 3. The balance filter. 4. Filtration velocity. 5. Calculations filtration apparatus (filter press, drum filter, centrifuge). 6. Description of other filtration devices, the influence of technological parameters on the filtration efficiency. Exercise: 1.Opening exercise - Guidelines for the conduct of training (safety, clothing, equipment handling, processing method and timing of delivery protocols - Overview of training tasks for the winter semester - Input for 2nd issue Exercise - the repetition of the substance 2 to 3 Basic tasks of balance calculation - Examples of simple mass balance periodic and continuous system without chemical reaction in steady state - Examples of mass balance of a complex system without chemical reaction in steady state 4 to 5 Basic tasks hydrostatics - Calculation of the pressure conditions in containers - Pressure on plane surfaces - Examples of work fluid in the field of centrifugal forces 6 to 7 Flow of perfect (ideal) fluid - Examples of calculation of volume flow - Examples of calculation of static pressure in the cross-section - Examples of calculating the hydraulic gradient - Examples of measured and calculated velocity 8 to 9 Flow of real fluids - Examples of calculation of energy loss in pipe flow - Examples of calculation of pressure drop and volume flow - Calculation of coefficient of friction and local resistances (Re, epsilon, lambda) 10.Outflow of containers, hydraulic calculation pipeline - Examples of calculation of pipeline parameters - Examples of calculating the discharge of liquid from containers 11 to 12 Calculation of basic parameters of centrifugal pumps for pumping - Specific examples of calculation, working pump head - Examples of calculation power pump and motor efficiency at a given - Examples of calculation of the pump and piping - Calculate the drag coefficient 13.Calculation of the characteristics of centrifugal pumps - Calculation of the characteristics of centrifugal pumps and their constructions - Calculation of the universal characteristics of centrifugal pumps and their constructions 14.Excursion the coal preparation plant in OKR 15.Closing exercise (test repetition, credit)
