Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with equipment commonly used in treatment plants and enviromental engineering. The students will be also acquaint with basic design, construction and instrumentation of above mentioned equipment.

Teaching methods

Individual consultations

The subject acquaints students with equipment used in various types of waste water treatment and treatment plants such as transport and handling equipment and means for water pumping in the area of waste water treatment. Students will learn the basics of their design and technological calculations and their application in operation. Part of the course is also study of measurement and regulation of individual parameters during operation of these devices.
