The aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge in the field of technical documentation, creation of technical drawings, sketches and diagrams using computer technology.

Summary
The main task of the subject of technical drawing is for students to acquire practical skills in the field of technical documentation, in the creation of technical drawings, sketches and diagrams using computer technology.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Checking continuously processed tasks of students in exercises. To be awarded credit, it is necessary to prepare a semester's work and pass a credit test.

Subject syllabus:
1. Types and formats of technical drawings, standards, types of lines on
technical drawings, scales and technical font.
2. Basic elements of the technical drawing and description of the stamp on the
drawings. Breakdown of technical documentation.
3. Rectangular projection, axonometric projection, display of geometric bodies.
Views, Sections and Sections.
4. Basic concepts and rules of dimensioning, execution of dimensions, systems
of dimensions, functional and technological dimensioning.
5. Tolerance, tolerating length and angle dimensions, writing tolerances.
6. Drawing threads, screw joints, pins, pins, wedges and pins. Drawing shafts
and hubs for shafts.
7. User registration on the Autodesk portal, familiarization with the
installation and operation of the AutoCAD application.
8. Ribbons and menus, graphics window, command line, saving files, file
versions, snapping points, snapping objects, (keyboard shortcuts), setting
layers, line types, line thicknesses, displaying objects, zoom, view shift,
coordinate system, scale for drawing.
9. Basic principles of using the application (creating layers, 2D sketches and
dimensional drawings, printing).
10. Drawing basic objects such as line, line, polygon, rectangle, arc, circle,
ellipse, area creation and hatching.
11. Manipulation of objects, copy, move, rotate, mirror, extend, crop, round and
bevel edges, polygon, create array of objects, change scale.
12. Basic work with levels, creating a level, setting the type and properties of
a line, turning off and freezing a level, creating basic levels for outline,
invisible and other types of lines. Dimensioning, creating dimensions, setting the dimensioning style,
straight and oblique dimensioning, dimensioning radii and diameters, dimensioning
angles, inserting and editing text, font styles, inserting characters,
hatching objects, filling an object with a hatch.
13. Design of the process technology line according to the specification.
