Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the subject is learning of students to recognize important factors influencing the stability of rock and soil slopes, and using methods for its estimation and controling.

Summary

The students will gain the knowledge of the most important factors influencing the stability of rock and soil slopes. The methods of calculation methods of stability control are discussed, as well as the monitoring and procedures, that can be used for regaining the stability of disturbed rock bodies.

Osnova přednášek: 1. Přehled technických vlastností zemin a skalních hornin, které se podílí na stabilizaci svahů. 2. Terénní metody určování vybraných technických vlastností hornin. 3. Význam nespojitosti v zemním tělese pro jeho stabilitu. 4. Význam nespojitosti ve skalním tělese pro jeho stabilitu. 5. Voda v zeminách a ve skalních horninách. 6. Faktory ovlivňující dlouhodobou stabilitu zemních těles a skalních stěn. 7. Výpočetní metody pro stanovení stability zemních těles. 8. Grafické metody. 9. Grafo-analytické metody. 10. Analytické metody. 11. Matematické modelování. 12. Výpočetní metody pro stanovení stability skalních stěn. 13. Stabilita podzákladí výsypek. 14. Řešení stability zemních svahů a náspů.
