Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the subject is learning of students to recognize important factors influencing the stability of rock and soil slopes, and using methods for its estimation and controling.

Summary

The students will gain the knowledge of the most important factors influencing the stability of rock and soil slopes. The methods of calculation methods of stability control are discussed, as well as the monitoring and procedures, that can be used for regaining the stability of disturbed rock bodies.
