Teaching methods
Summary
One of the final subjects of Mining Engineering. The students will gain the
knowledge of regulations connected with the planning, design and/or closing of
opencast mines, with the assessing of geological conditions of deposits as a
basis for decision-making process for preparation and mining of overburden
benches, haulage levels and working slices, as well as knowledge of the
formation of dump layers and dump piles. The preparation of projects and
mining¬-technical plans, including technological regimes and basic principles
of opencast mine design are discussed.

1st Legislation related to projections and preparation of production at quarries.
2nd Evaluation of natural conditions in the mining area, respectively. space conquest.
3rd Filling production preparation for quarries.
4th Determination of production capacity, time funds mining, transport and incorporation technology.
5th Assessment mining soil and rocks in relation to the choice of mechanization.
6th Solution výsypných space, capacity, routing removes.
7th POPD, mining and technical plans, technical procedures, processes.
8th Model and computer processing of graphic documentation.
