Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Deposit Mining and Processing I and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them.
Subsequently, the students will learn how to analyse information, connect pieces of information, order information according to importance and use it in experiments and synthesis with a view to definite recommendations.

Summary
The goal is that students gain basic knowledge for business activities in obtaining raw materials from the earth's crust, the properties of rocks, changes in the mountain massif as a result of mining activities, ways of stamping the long and spacious mine workings and principles of stability, pressure manifestations during excavation pits and systems of opening and training in relation to úložním conditions and character of commercial materials.

1.The issue of underground coal mining and quarry, construction, silicate deposits, etc..
2. Basic concepts of fracture and deep-mining deposits.
3. Systems quarry and mining division of production process clears.
4. Cyclically operating excavators and equipment for quarries.
5. Continuous technology quarry operations.
6. Mining coherent and cohesive mineral resources for industrial production.
7. Mechanization of the founding works on dumps and tips.
8. For opening of the bearing surface and the floor.
9. Methods of preparation of deposits for underground mining.
10. Breakdown of the mining methods of coal mines.
11. Technological devices at the coalface.
12. Characteristics of ore mining and non-ore deposits.
13. Ventilation in underground mines.
14. Rehabilitation activities in underground mining and extraction of fracture and reclamation
