The goal of the subject is acquaint students with occurrence, technologies mining stone for coarse and noble stonemason production.

Summary

Students are introducing with the surface mining of rock blocks for a rough and noble stonecutting industry. The subject deals with the technology of cutting, drilling, blasting, transport of mined blocks, mining technology in quarries, processing of blocks, splitting technology for treatment of mined blocks and accompanying processes.

Subject syllabus:

Course Syllabus: 1st Characteristics of deposits of commercial exploitation of raw materials for the block. 2nd Mining-technical conditions for the extraction and processing blocks. 3rd The distribution and classification methods for the extraction of blocks. 4th Technology grinding blocks klínováním, use expansion mixtures obvrtáváním. 5th Technology stone cuting grinding machines and devices. 6th Processing technology for rough stone blocks production. 7th Processing technology for refined stone blocks production. 8th Nontraditional methods of grinding blocks and their processing. 9th Dump, sludge and water in the block extraction. 10th Working environment and protect the environment during mining and processing of blocks
