Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to teach students theoretical training for designing a plan for remediation and reclamation of land affected by mining. Within the course, the student will first be acquainted with the applicable legislation related to the topic, then theoretically discuss the various types of remediation and reclamation, including work carried out in the various stages of reclamation. The student will learn to create a plan of remediation and reclamation according to applicable legislation, including the creation of a work schedule, setting the price of reclamation work and a proposal for the creation of a financial reserve. The graduate of the course should be able to design suitable types of reclamation and identify their strengths and weaknesses.
